Extreme sensitivity of plasmon drag to surface modification

T. Ronurpraful et al.

Summary: The study explores the potential of compact electric monitoring of plasmonic effects through the significant enhancement of photocurrents in plasmonic structures. Experimental results demonstrate the sensitivity of photoinduced electric signals to small changes in the local dielectric environment, and the ability to resolve small shifts in plasmon resonance conditions caused by the addition of a monolayer using electrical measurements.
