Association between alopecia areata, anxiety, and depression: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Summary: This study conducted a meta-analysis to examine the association between alopecia areata (AA), anxiety, and depression. The analysis of eight studies including a total of 6010 AA patients and 20961 control individuals showed a positive association between AA and anxiety as well as depression.
