Accelerating innovation: Some lessons from the pandemic

Summary: The Pandemic has taught us that accelerated new-product development is crucial. Five approaches to accelerated development include focused teams, effective portfolio management, new digital tools, Lean development, and Agile development. However, accelerated development also has hidden costs and limited research on its expected benefits.
