Roles of male reproductive tract extracellular vesicles in reproduction

Recent studies have shown that these vesicles and their cargo have influential roles in male reproduction, supporting sperm development and function, and influencing the physiology of female reproductive tract cells. They are critical regulators of fertility and fecundity.

Bovine seminal plasma osteopontin: Structural modelling, recombinant expression and its relationship with semen quality

The molecular docking predictions showed that bovine OPN interacts with heparin disaccharide, hyaluronic acid, and hyaluronan, as well as with CD44 and integrin heterodimers alpha 5 beta 1 and alpha V beta 3. Recombinant expression of OPN was successfully achieved, indicating potential biotechnological uses in bovine reproduction.
