Hydrogen production through the cooperation of a catalyst synthesized in ethanol medium and the effect of the plasma

Summary: In this study, nanostructured Ni-B catalysts were prepared in ethanol medium using the chemical reduction method for hydrogen production from the catalytic hydrolysis of NaBH4. Various factors affecting the catalyst performance were investigated, and the catalyst prepared in ethanol medium showed the best performance. Additionally, the performance of the catalyst subjected to plasma treatment was studied. The results suggest that this catalyst can be used in practical fuel cell applications for portable and in situ use.
