FDG-PET/CT after two cycles of R-CHOP in DLBCL predicts complete remission but has limited value in identifying patients with poor outcome - final result of a UK National Cancer Research Institute prospective study

N. George Mikhaeel et al.

Summary: The study found that DLBCL patients who had a complete metabolic response (Deauville score 1-3) on PET/CT after two cycles of R-CHOP had a higher rate of complete and overall response at the end of treatment. However, only patients with a Deauville score of 5 had inferior progression-free survival and overall survival.
