Summary: This study investigated the harvesting of oil-bearing microalgae Chlorella pyrenoidosa using Citrobacter freundii and Mucor circinelloides, showing that bacteria and fungi have a good potential for the harvest of microalgae. By optimizing the flocculation conditions, the efficiency of microalgae harvesting was significantly improved.
