Excellent triple-shape memory effect and superior recovery stress of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer fiber

Xiaoming Qi et al.

Summary: The study successfully achieved excellent triple shape memory effect by regulating the crystalline structure transformation of EVA fibers. Dynamic mechanical analysis and differential scanning calorimetry observed a wide melting transition temperature, indicating the superior shape memory effect and tunable reversible effect of EVA fibers. Thermo-mechanical testing showed that EVA fibers have the ability to achieve an excellent triple shape memory effect and a superior recovery stress.
