Testing of fast dissolution of ibuprofen from its electrospun hydrophilic polymer nanocomposites

Summary: This study developed a new coaxial solid core spinneret to prepare IBU-loaded PVP nanofibers with fine linear morphology, smooth surface, and no solid phase separation. Various testing methods were used to assess the fast dissolution properties of the fibers, showing the good functional performance of electrospun nanofibers in improving the dissolution rate of IBU.
