Influence of external forces on actin-dependent T cell protrusions during immune synapse formation

Andres Ernesto Zucchetti et al.

Summary: The research showed that external forces influence the dynamic of actin protrusions generated by T cells, with compressive forces slightly decreasing the length and growth speed, while pulling forces increase these parameters. The study also demonstrated that the dynamic of the protrusion is controlled by the Arp2/3 complex, and its inhibition affects the length, growth speed, and delay in growth of the protrusion.
