Wonyoung Kang et al.

Summary: A new method for establishing orthotopic xenograft of gastric cancer was developed, allowing for the insertion of soft tissue fragments or minced tissues into the stomach submucosa layer of immunodeficient mice. This surgical procedure demonstrated high reproducibility with a success rate of 96% and tumor formation rate of 93% in generating mouse models.
