Multiple sperm collection as an effective solution for gamete management in pikeperch (Sander lucioperca)

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the effects of single or multiple sperm collection methods on sperm quality in pikeperch. Results showed that multiple sperm collection with catheter did not significantly impact sperm volume and density, while multiple collection with syringe led to a drastic reduction in sperm density. Additionally, sperm volume, density, and osmolality were significantly affected by sampling method and post-injection time.
