Rapid simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of acetaminophen, phenylephrine, and guaifenesin in a cold syrup formulation based on continuous wavelet transform and first derivative transform methods

Mahdi Ebrahimi et al.

Summary: This study successfully utilized spectrophotometry technique along with continuous wavelet transform and derivative transform for the simultaneous determination of acetaminophen, phenylephrine, and guaifenesin. The proposed methods showed good performance in terms of recovery, error, and limit of detection, and were compared with high-performance liquid chromatography without significant differences in quantitative assessment.
