Summary: The efficient fibrous adsorbent PANF-TETA-PT showed superior adsorption capacity for Au(III) compared to other adsorbents, with good preference for adsorbing Au(III) even in the presence of coexisting pollutants. Characterization analysis revealed that electrostatic attraction and chelation dominated the uptake of Au(III) on PANF-TETA-PT.
