This condition, defined as SARS-CoV-2-associated multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children, shares similarities with Kawasaki disease. Patients often present with persistent fever, gastrointestinal symptoms, rash, conjunctivitis, and mucosal changes, along with elevated inflammatory markers and cytokine storm. Management involves cardiac support, immunomodulation, and anticoagulation during the acute phase, with long-term follow-up crucial due to uncertain prognosis and potential cardiac complications.
