Authentication of the geographic origin of Yangshan region peaches based on hyperspectral imaging

Ye Sun et al.

Summary: This research developed an effective method for the geographic origin authentication of Yangshan region peaches based on hyperspectral imaging combined with a group sparse representation classifier, and interpreted the hyperspectral fingerprint with physiological metabolism using HPLC analysis. The results showed that the GSR classifier achieved high classification accuracy and has potential for origin authentication of Yangshan region peaches.

Effect of pressing and impacting bruises on optical properties of kiwifruit flesh

Mengjie Gao et al.

Summary: The study investigates the optical properties of bruised and non-bruised kiwifruit, revealing differences in absorption coefficient and reduced scattering coefficient between the two. Scattering technique shows potential in distinguishing bruised kiwifruit from non-bruised ones, providing insights for the application of near-infrared spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging technologies in detecting internally bruised kiwifruit.
