Ultra-high-dose-rate FLASH and Conventional-Dose-Rate Irradiation Differentially Affect Human Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Normal Hematopoiesis

Sara Chabi et al.

Summary: Ultra-high-dose-rate FLASH radiation therapy has been shown to be more effective in controlling the propagation of two cases of T-ALL compared to conventional-dose-rate TBI. It was able to preserve stem cell potential and control tumor development when both HSPCs and T-ALL were present in the same animals.
