Investigation on carbide slag catalytic effect of Mongolian bituminous coal steam gasification process

Ning Wang et al.

Summary: This study utilized untreated carbide slag as a source of calcium, added to bituminous coal for gasification experiments. The results showed that the addition of carbide slag improved H-2 production and reduced the activation energy of gasification reaction, significantly enhancing the reactivity of bituminous coal steam gasification.
