Summary: This study found that 2 Hz and 100 Hz electroacupuncture similarly induced analgesic effects in neuropathic pain models; this effect was related to the up-regulation and down-regulation of cytosol protein expression of P2X3 and TRPV1 in L4-L6 dorsal root ganglia, with 2 Hz showing a better effect than 100 Hz.
