Long-term behavior of normal weight concrete containing hybrid nanoparticles subjected to gamma radiation

Summary: The experimental study investigated the effects of nanoparticle addition on gamma radiation shielding, physical properties, and mechanical properties of normal weight concrete. Results showed that adding nanoparticles improved the properties of concrete, with synergistic phenomena observed in some cases. The scanning electron microscopy technique confirmed the enhancement of microstructure in the concrete due to nanoparticle addition.
