Motivating Physicians to Report Adverse Medical Events in China: Stick or Carrot?

Summary: The study found that both punishment and reward can motivate physicians to report adverse medical events, but collective reward does not have the same effect. Furthermore, physicians who fear the negative consequences of adverse medical events and lack reporting knowledge have lower intention to report AMEs.
