Summary: This study examined the impact of lifestyle behaviors on the mental health of elderly in India, finding that unhealthy lifestyle choices such as smoking and low physical activity levels were directly and indirectly associated with poor mental health outcomes. Additionally, poor physical health was found to have a significant influence on anxiety and depression.
