BMI changes in pediatric type 1 narcolepsy under sodium oxybate treatment

Summary: Pediatric type 1 narcolepsy patients treated with sodium oxybate (SO) showed significant weight reduction in the first year, with further decrease in the second year for those receiving combined therapy. Patients not treated with SO experienced significant weight gain between the second and third year of therapy.
