A single-molecular fluorescent probe KC was developed for discriminative detection of H2S, Cys, Hcy, and GSH with distinct fluorescence signals. This probe enabled the discriminatory visualization of these four thiol-containing substrates in cells and zebrafish.
A single-molecular, selective and sensitive fluorescent probe, KC, was developed to discriminatively detect H2S, Cys, Hcy, and GSH with concise fluorescence signals. Probe KC displayed distinct fluorescence signals in response to these four biological thiols: H2S (red), Cys (blue), Hcy (blue-green) and GSH (green). The discriminatory visualization of these four thiol-containing substrates in cells and zebrafish were realized with the help of this probe.
