Four new monoterpene alkaloid glycosides and 12 known compounds were isolated from the leaves of Nauclea orientalis, and their structures were determined based on physical data and spectroscopic evidence, including 1D and 2D NMR experiments.
Four new monoterpene alkaloid glycosides, kanluaengosides A-D (1, 2, 8, and 9), were isolated from the leaves of Nauclea orientalis. Additionally, the 12 known compounds were identified as (3S)-pumiloside (3), strictosamide (4), vincosamide (5), 10-hydroxystictosamide (6), 10-hydroxyvincoside lactam (7), paratunamide B (10), paratunamide C (11), vitexin (12), vicenin-2 (13), kaempferol 3-O-rutinoside (14), rutin (15) and eugenyl beta-rutinoside (16). Their structures were determined based on the physical data and the spectroscopic evidence including 1D and 2D NMR experiments.
