Steel microstructure-Magnetic permeability modelling: The effect of ferrite grain size and phase fraction

Summary: A finite element modelling approach has been developed to predict the relative permeability in steel microstructures with different grain sizes and phase balances. The model shows good agreement with experimental results, demonstrating its capability to consider the effects of grain size and phase balance on relative permeability.
