Seventeen species of Laboulbeniales parasitizing Coleoptera Chrysomelidae are reported for the first time in Ecuador, bringing the total number of these fungi in the country to 135, with 31 species associated with Chrysomelidae. Records of these species are also found in Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, French Guyana, Honduras, and Venezuela, while the synonymy between Laboulbenia arietina and L. bergii is established.
