Acute Effects of Different Warm-up Protocols on Sports Performance in Elite Male Collegiate Handball Players

Summary: This study aimed to examine the effects of 3 different warm-up protocols on subsequent sports performance in elite male collegiate handball players. The study found that sport-specific warm-up protocols containing core stability or elastic band exercises can enhance the sprint, jump, and throw performance of handball players, with the elastic band warm-up protocol leading to superior upper-body performance enhancement.
