Dielectric behavior of Fe3N@C composites with green synthesis and their remarkable electromagnetic wave absorption performance

Xinfeng Zhou et al.

Summary: Fe3N is considered a new generation of ideal ferromagnetic materials due to its high saturated magnetization and resistance to oxidation. This study investigated a facile and eco-friendly method for Fe3N fabrication using gelatin derived from fish skin as a carbon source and amino acids as a nitrogen source. The influence of graphitization degree on dielectric behavior in composites was also explored, with findings indicating the degree of graphitization affects orientation speed of dipoles and conductive loss.
