This paper introduces new similarity measures for PFSs and novel distance measures for PFNs and PFSs based on arc distance on sphere from a geometric perspective. It also presents a method for multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) in a Pythagorean fuzzy environment. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
In this paper, we propose the new similarity measures of PFSs based on the arc distance on sphere from the geometric perspective. And simultaneously, by the Spherical Coordinate System, we give another way to express the PFNs and construct a variety of novel distance measures of PFNs and PFSs. Moreover, an approach for multiple criteria group decision making (MCGDM) within Pythagorean fuzzy environment is given. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the feasibility and availability of the proposed approach.
