Rapid and efficient removal of diclofenac sodium from aqueous solution via ternary core-shell CS@PANI@LDH composite: Experimental and adsorption mechanism study

Summary: The synthesis of ternary core-shell CS@PANI@LDH composite provided an effective adsorbent for the removal of Diclofenac sodium, with a maximum adsorption capacity of 618.16 mg/g. The composite retained high adsorption capacity even after multiple regeneration cycles. The adsorption mechanism was explained by various interactions, including electrostatic interaction, hydrogen bonding, and 7C-7C interaction.
