Survey of antibiotics residues in DDGS from 14 different states by LCMS

Summary: This study quantified antibiotics in DDGS samples and found that different types of antibiotics residues were present in the samples, indicating that the use of antibiotics in corn-based ethanol production may lead to the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. It is the largest study to date to quantify antibiotics in DDGS, covering 33 ethanol plants in 14 states.
