Summary: This comment highlights the inaccuracies in data treatment and presentation of laser ablation ICP-MS U-Pb age determinations for two samples of the Trebic Pluton, leading to invalid age interpretations by the authors. New high-precision chemical abrasion ID-TIMS data are provided to definitively establish the emplacement age of the Trebic pluton, supporting the criticism.
