High Fundamental Frequency (HFF) Monolithic Resonator Arrays for Biosensing Applications: Design, Simulations, and Experimental Characterization

Roman Fernandez et al.

Summary: This study presents a design for a 24-element monolithic quartz crystal microbalance array for high-throughput and low-volume sensing applications in liquid. Various physical and electrical properties of the array are investigated and methods to effectively model crosstalk using appropriate equivalent circuit models are discussed. The study provides insight into interactions between array elements and the potential parasitic grounding effects associated with the acquisition circuitry, offering a more comprehensive understanding of the system.
