The system described relies on GNSS to provide a sub-nanosecond precision realization of China's National Time Service Center's UTC (NTSC) in a cost-effective and easy-to-implement way, and has been successfully tested.
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the worldwide standard of time, and UTC (k) is its physical implementation by any participating laboratory k. We describe a one-way real-time time service system that relies on GNSS to provide a realization UTC (NTSC) of China's National Time Service Center, to a precision of sub-nanosecond. The system is inexpensive, easy to implement, and has been tested.
