Fuzzy logic-based integral sliding mode control of multi-area power systems integrated with wind farms

Summary: This study aims to design a fuzzy-based integral sliding mode control to address stability issues in multi-area interconnected power systems with wind farms. The study utilizes the T-S fuzzy method to approximate nonlinear models and designs a fuzzy-based integral sliding mode load frequency controller, which is theoretically validated using Lyapunov stability theory and LMIs. The results of a two-area MAIPS simulation under experimental values are provided to demonstrate the controller's performance.
