Synthesis of covalently bonded reduced graphene oxide-Fe3O4 nanocomposites for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption

Xudong Liu et al.

Summary: The high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbers, covalently bonded reduced graphene oxide-Fe3O4 nanocomposites, demonstrated excellent absorption properties with Fe3O4 nanoparticles successfully grafted onto graphene by amide bonds. The synergistic effect between dielectric and magnetic loss, good attenuation ability, and excellent impedance matching contribute to the outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption performance. Furthermore, covalent bonds act as carrier channels to facilitate electron migration and enhance the absorption performance of the absorbers.

Experimental design and theoretical evaluation of nitrogen and phosphorus dual-doped hierarchical porous carbon for high-performance sodium-ion storage

Chen Chen et al.

Summary: In this study, nitrogen and phosphorus co-doped porous carbon was prepared using starch and ammonium polyphosphate as raw materials, and applied as the anode for sodium-ion batteries, achieving excellent electrochemical performance. By doping nitrogen and phosphorus elements, the adsorption capacity of the carbon material was enhanced, and the diffusion barrier of sodium ions was reduced, providing a new research direction for heteroatom doping and carbon material modification.
