Regional brain volume predicts response to methylphenidate treatment in individuals with ADHD

Jung-Chi Chang et al.

Summary: Our study found that regional gray matter volumes in the striatum and precuneus play a critical role in mediating treatment responses in individuals with ADHD, especially the left putamen and precuneus. The machine learning approach identified volumetric information among these regions could predict clinical responses to methylphenidate in individuals with ADHD.
