Summary: By conducting multi-proxy analysis of lake sediments in Wular Lake, Kashmir Valley, this study aims to investigate environmental changes and eutrophic evolution over the past 500 years. The study indicates that the increase in organic carbon and nitrogen nutrients in lake sediments may be attributed to human activities leading to lake eutrophication.
