Glutathione-Coated Magnetic Nanoparticles for One-Pot Synthesis of 1,4-Dihydropyridine Derivatives

Behrooz Maleki et al.

Summary: The Fe3O4-supported glutathione catalyst showed excellent catalytic activity in synthesizing 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives, with easy separation and consecutive reuse in six runs. Other advantages include short reaction time, high yield, simple work-up procedure, easy catalyst handling, and high catalyst stability, making the protocol economical and sustainable.
