Synthetic community with sixPseudomonasstrains screened from garlic rhizosphere microbiome promotes plant growth

Lubo Zhuang et al.

Summary: The study explored the structure of bacterial and fungal rhizosphere communities of Jinxiang garlic using amplicon sequencing and identified Pseudomonas as a key PGPR in the garlic rhizosphere. Additionally, a SynCom containing six Pseudomonas strains isolated from the garlic rhizosphere showed the ability to promote plant growth.

Microbial inoculants modulate growth traits, nutrients acquisition and bioactive compounds accumulation of Cyclocarya paliurus (Batal.) Iljinskaja under degraded field condition

Zhikang Wang et al.

Summary: Co-inoculation with phyto-stimulatory and nutrient-enhancing bacterial strains on barren land enhanced soil nutrient availability, promoted root system modification, increased photosynthesis rate, nutrient acquisition, and plant growth. Medium fertilizing level with beneficial microbes resulted in the accumulation of flavonoids and polysaccharides, while low fertilizing level with specific bacterial strains facilitated the production of flavonoids and triterpenoids in Cyclocarya paliurus leaves. The biosynthesis of bioactive compounds in the leaves was influenced by internal nutrient balance and root system morphology modified by bacterial inoculation.
