New Insights into Plant Extracellular DNA. A Study in Soybean Root Extracellular Trap

Summary: This study conducted high-throughput genomic sequencing of plant exDNA from soybean and found that exDNA primarily originates from organelle DNA, with a mix of coding and non-coding sequences. The release of exDNA was not affected by treatment with the elicitor PEP-13.
