Dual-function antibacterial surfaces to resist and kill bacteria: Painting a picture with two brushes simultaneously

Summary: Traditional antibacterial surfaces either resist bacterial adhesion or kill attached bacteria, but they cannot provide long-term efficacy against bacteria. Recently, dual-function antibacterial surfaces with both resisting and killing properties have been developed, showing better performance in combating surface-attached bacteria and preventing biofilm formation.
