In this research, we synthesized GO by a Hummer's method and decorated with it MnFe2O4 magnetic nanoparticles that is synthesized by the sol-gel method to remove methylene blue dye as a primary cationic organic dye pollutant model, from wastewaters. Successful removal of MB has been achieved on MnFe2O4/rGO magnetic nanoparticles (MRGO) having a surface area of 95 m(2)/g at different pH with maximum adsorption capacity 105 mg/g at pH 7.50. The effects of contact time, adsorbent dose, and change in pH were also studied. The kinetics of adsorption model follows the pseudo-second order mechanism. This magnetic facilely separable adsorbent retains 85% of its reactivity on dye removal after the reuse it for four-times.
