Extracellular vesicles from organoids and 3D culture systems

Summary: Initially considered as junk carriers, extracellular vesicles (EVs) have been found to play a crucial role in cell communication by transporting RNA, DNA, and other bioactive components. Recent studies are utilizing 3D cell culture models to analyze EVs in physiological and pathological contexts, although standard and reproducible methods for EV analysis in these models are lacking.
