Induction of Cross-Reactive Hemagglutination Inhibiting Antibody and Polyfunctional CD4+T-Cell Responses by a Recombinant Matrix-M-Adjuvanted Hemagglutinin Nanoparticle Influenza Vaccine

Vivek Shinde et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the safety and immunogenicity of a novel saponin-adjuvanted, recombinant hemagglutinin quadrivalent nanoparticle influenza vaccine in healthy adults aged 65 and above. The adjuvanted vaccine induced superior immune responses against multiple strains of influenza viruses compared to unadjuvanted vaccine and other conventional vaccines.
