A new high resolution filter for source edge detection of potential field data

Luan Thanh Pham et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a new method based on an arcsine function to determine the source edges in potential field analysis. By using the ratio of the vertical gradient to the total gradient of the amplitude of the horizontal gradient field, the method outlines more accurate and higher resolution edges without producing spurious edges.
