Microalgal liquid biofertilizer and biostimulant effect on green gram (Vigna radiata L) an experimental cultivation

Summary: Microalgae-based biofertilizers extracted from Chlorella vulgaris and Spirulina platensis have been shown to improve the growth of green gram (Vigna radiata), with higher growth parameters, chemical composition, and soil characteristics. The antinutritional factors and phytohaemagglutinating activities of green gram were found to be higher in microalgal-treated plants.
