N,N-Dimethylformamide has been explored as an aminomethylating reagent in the functionalization of imidazopyridine under Cu(II)-catalysis. A library of aminomethylated imidazopyridines with broad functionalities was synthesized in good yields. (C) 2020 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
