Robotic-assisted transanal total mesorectal excision for rectal cancer: technique and results from a single institution

J. Ye et al.

Summary: The study investigated the safety and feasibility of robotic-assisted transanal total mesorectal excision (RTaTME) in patients with rectal cancer. The results suggest that RTaTME is a feasible and safe approach with good short-term outcomes for patients, and no local tumor recurrences, metastasis or deaths were reported during the follow-up period.
